About the event
We invite students from Arica and Parinacota to enjoy the wawa films created by girls, boys and young people to save the planet. In order to create bridges and share the diversity of views of the world's new generations, through cinema, this year we have a selection of films from Russia, Norway, Korea, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, the United States, Cape Verde, Belgium, Iran, Portugal and Chile.

Synopsis:Short film that imagines a future in which anthropogenic activity has ended all life on our planet. This film exposes the magnitude of our destructive habits by illustrating the deterioration of our planet, in the hope that it will in turn encourage the viewer to act.
TO SAVE A FJORD

Synopsis:A group of young activists initiate civil disobedience in one of Norway's most controversial fjords, which is planned to be turned into a mining dump. They face the consequences while teaching each other workers' protest songs.
WINGS OF HOPE
Synopsis:The film captures the voices of girls and boys from the refugee community of the Katsikas camp, in Ioannina (Greece), which are often not heard or shown by the conventional media. It is about children from different backgrounds and countries, but with a common refugee experience, and we discover a political message in the plot they draw.
