About the event
We invite students from Arica and Parinacota to enjoy the wawa films created by girls, boys and young people to save the planet. In order to create bridges and share the diversity of views of the world's new generations, through cinema, this year we have a selection of films from Russia, Norway, Korea, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, the United States, Cape Verde, Belgium, Iran, Portugal and Chile.

THE LEGEND OF CHAMOMILE

Synopsis:The Mapuches say that once, in a town, an enormous puma was lurking. One day, the children of the village were suffering from stomach aches and a brave mother decided to drive the puma away and get help. The gods rewarded this brave gesture with the chamomile plant that helped cure the children of the town.
THE TEPAS OF POZA RICA

Synopsis:The witches have always been present in Poza Rica to take care of the forest and the river, but over time they have seen changes that they do not understand. They are concerned about caring for the flora, fauna and resources of the place, so they ask for help to protect nature.

MAGNUS THE VOLCANO

Synopsis:A grandfather and his two grandchildren live on an island in contact with nature. One day the Magnus volcano starts an eruption that forces them to overcome dangerous situations to protect the town where they live.
Synopsis:What are mosquito fish? Are they fish that jump out of the water to eat mosquitoes... or mosquitoes that know how to swim? Learn more about these amazing creatures that can help keep our ponds and fountains free of mosquitoes, without harmful pesticides.
